The Australian University Games or Championships (formerly  known as Intervarsity) involves teams representing their universities in competition.

Flinders started seeing teams to Intervarsity competition in 1967 and continued to do so until 1975. Mored details are contained in the History page of this website. Highlights would include winning the championship in 1969.

After a gap,  teams were organised again in 1991  (now called the Australian University Championships / Games) and were sent regularly for the next decade). Softball teams were also sent in some of these years. Flinders won the Baseball championship in 1995 and 1999 and a Silver Medal in 1996. Flinders also won a Silver medal in Softball in 2002.
